We fit hearing aids on people of all ages at Valley Audiology. The fitting process starts with a thorough hearing aid evaluation. We use the hearing testing results and analysis of the patient’s lifestyle in order to recommend a hearing aid.
On the day of the fitting we spend an hour programming the hearing aids to the appropriate settings, explaining the use and care of the aids and answering the patient’s and family’s questions. During the 30 day trial period we see the patient several times to answer questions and/or make adjustments to the hearing aids.
Throughout the process we counsel the patients and their families on coping with hearing loss and good communication strategies. After the trial period is over we continue to see patients for maintenance and counseling on an on-going basis. For more information on hearing aids see our Products page.
